My Story

• Tricia A. Bookhart is a proud native of Long Island, New York.

• Brings over 27 years of experience in Human Resources, with a career that began at Cablevision Systems Corporation.

• Previous HR roles held at:

  • Paychex Inc.

  • The Smith Center for the Performing Arts

  • Nevada Gaming Control Board, where she currently serves as State HR Manager.

• Educational Background:

  • Bachelor of Science in Business Administration – New York Institute of Technology, Old Westbury, NY.

  • Master of Arts in Leadership & Management – Trinity Seminary (2016).

  • Master of Arts in Human Resources with a Non-Profit Concentration – Hope University (2020).

• Leadership & Service:

  • Serves as President of the Las Vegas Chapter of the National Coalition of 100 Black Women (past two terms and reappointed in 2023).

  • Honored as the first appointed Chaplain of the National Board.

  • Currently serves as:

    • National Board Director

    • Committee Chair

    • Co-Chair for the National Coalition of 100 Black Women.

• Faith & Ministry:

  • A third-generation Pastor’s child, originally appointed by her late mother, Apostle Dr. Joan M. Hicks-Corbett.

  • Founder and Overseer of Give It All You Got Ministries, celebrating 15 years of service in October 2024.

  • Will be ordained as a Bishop in the Lord's Church in October 2025.

• Community Involvement:

  • Graduate of the 2021 Las Vegas Leadership Program of Nevada.

  • Active member of:

    • Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Inc. (serving in both State and Local roles)

    • Top Ladies of Distinction – Greater Las Vegas Chapter

    • National Council of Negro Women

• Personal Life:

  • Married her high school sweetheart, Jaye Bookhart, in 2021 after 28 years.

  • Proud mother of Malachi, Messiah, and Marcelleus—her three greatest accomplishments.
